#WeAreInPuglia Road Show in Dublin

Let’s discover the culture, history and life style of Puglia, the heel of the Italian boot

To all Puglia and Italy Lovers! If you are in Dublin next week you cannot miss the chance to visit the Puglia Village, the official Road Show organised by the Puglia Tourism Agency across many Europeans cities! Dublin will be the last stop of this amazing journey that has seen the Puglia Village showcasing first in Vienna, then moving to Germany, in Berlin and Munich, flying over to London and finally reaching Paris.

The event is taking place in George’s Dock, Dublin from Sunday 6th until Tuesday 15th July 2014, for a 10 days event full of free activities for adults and children to enjoy. From 12noon until 8pm, you are invited to experience the culture, history and life style of Puglia, along with local food & wine tasting, traditional music, virtual tours of the region and fun attractions for the kids! You will also learn how to prepare homemade “taralli” and “orecchiette” pasta, how to dance the typical “Pizzica” and enjoy the fine flavours of the Puglia’s wines.

This is a great opportunity not to be missed: being in Puglia, without even use your passport! And this is something you Irish might find curious… Did you know that Puglia means “land without rain”? Definitely it should borrow some from Ireland, don’t you think? Now that Ryanair has opened its summer direct flight to Bari, the capital of the region, there is no excuse for thinking of Puglia as your next holidays destination! If you’re still unsure, have a look at these photos and tell us if you haven’t already changed your mind! For more inspiring ideas and itineraries surf through our site and discover all the amazing itineraries and activities that Puglia has to offer! Looking forward to seeing you at the Puglia Village!
